Mike Ruffing
Owner, President & CEO
Mike Ruffing is the owner of Problem Solver's Consultants, LLC, a full-service consulting firm based in Buckhannon, West Virginia. The firm helps small and regional businesses grow through smart strategy, digital marketing and effective communication. Mike is a Penn State graduate with nearly two decades of marketing experience, spanning Fortune 500 companies such as Circuit City and Advance Auto Parts as well as Main Street small businesses. He specializes in marketing strategy, automation, website development, ads management and local search optimization. In 2026, Problem Solver's Consultants was named the WV SBA Rural Small Business of the Year, reflecting the firm's impact on entrepreneurs and communities across the Mountain State and beyond.
Michael Moore
Director of Operations
Michael keeps every client plan on schedule. He manages timelines, coordinates the team's work across strategy, content and design, and makes sure your monthly deliverables arrive when promised. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from West Virginia Wesleyan College and brings hands-on experience in web development, typesetting and graphic design, plus team management. If you've ever had an agency go quiet on you, Michael is the reason that doesn't happen here.
Rachel Griffith
Graphic Designer
Rachel creates the logos, brand guides, social graphics, ad creative and website visuals that make our clients look as professional as they are. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from West Virginia Wesleyan College and has worked as a graphic designer and digital press operator in print and sign shops, so her designs work on screen and in print. Her work is a big reason clients like our insurance agency case study saw large jumps in engagement after a rebrand.

Will I work with the same people every month? Yes. You'll have a consistent team that knows your business, and Mike stays involved in strategy.
Can I meet the team in person? Absolutely. Our office is at 21 E. Main St., Suite 230, in Buckhannon, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but an appointment is preferred.
